You know I'm getting more and more excited about s15. The idea of Shane just coming back for two eps would normally have really bummed me out - but given what we had to endure in s14, two episodes plus mentions/phone calls/Neela pining for him feels too good to be true!

I thought in s14, we'd DEFINITELY have scenes of Neela missing him. I HOPED we'd have Neela realising that she loves him. I also thought Ray would reject her initially, but she will fight for him. But that never happened, ...

I'm wondering if TPTB will be going for a 6 episode arc for Shane as they did in S14 for Goran. Many Lubby fans were upset that they didn't get to see Luka enough because his scenes were so brief but yet they ultimately were satisfied because their favorite couple got a happy ending.

I'm thinking TPTB will go for the same effect with Ray. I think it maybe an episode dedicated solely to him and his recovery/rehab in BR(and perhaps a related criss cross storyline with Neela and her perspective ...

This whole situation just keeps reminding me of how they set up Doug and Carol's reunion - although I must say that GV was top competition, who wouldn't want to be romanced by him Brenner doesn't even come close...

Its a shame that the ER camp have lost all sense of 'originality' and unique writing!
