I Wonder If Parminder/Neela Will Leave Early!!!

According to John Wells in this interview last month, he talks about more characters leaving during the course of the season. With the heavy speculation that Neela may move to be with Ray, I was wondering if Parminder will exit prior to the series finale. I'll be fine with her leaving earlier as long as it means that Neela is leaving Chicago/County to be with Ray and get a job near him. As I speculate before, she can be mentioned in the series finale without actually being present such as in the case of her emailing Morris to tell him that she has moved to be with Ray and has gotten a new job there.

If she is with Ray I have no qualms with her leaving early.

Yeah, I wondered about that, Neela may not be in the series finale, her last episode might possibly be shane west's last appearance or perhaps one after but i have no problems with her leaving for ray..i think it'd be a nice way to know that she left chicago to be with ray..but i have a feeling we'll be needing tissues because as the series finale comes closer, so with the tears i dont want er to end but eh...guess it has to but neela is a new character compared to carter, i think the series finale will probably be all about the older characters and they said that carter would be in the finale..

Yeah, I thought that maybe she might leave near the end if John Wells wanted to do a really Carter-centric final episode. He's said that he knows exactly what the last image/shot will be, involving Carter.

I hope that Ray's next appearance will feature prominently during that episode, like it did in Haunted. I do not want a Ray appearance that's a quick 2 or 3 minute thing like Luka's in the last couple of episodes Goran did (pulling the car up when Abby left the hospital). I need substance, people!! So in order to give Reela 'substance' next time, I'd think it would be one of the last few epis, but not the very last.

But you never know what surprises they have in store. At that point, Reela may be the last love relationship left on the show (depending on what they do with Sam and Gates), so if they got good ratings for Haunted, they may try to amp up the ratings for the finale by saving the Reela ending until the very end.

Seriously, I need a Roomies spin-off. I don't know what I"ll do once this season ends.

Since Ray knew Carter I don't put it past the producers/writers to also have him be at whatever Carter oriented shindig is going on at the end... Carter's the linchpin to everyone (well, whoever's left alive).

So I'm not the only one who had that thought? That said - I'd love for Neela to leave to be with Ray, but ER has virtually no cast left and I only watch for Mindi to be honest, so I think from the show's point of view, it would be a shame.

Secondly, Mindi signed a 5 year contract in season 12 or 13, so I doubt she wants to leave early. She's also expressed sadness about the show ending, and even joked with Craig Ferguson about not having a job after it ends, so I don't think she would be that keen to leave

I think I suspected that she'd leave early-ish, but it's interesting how the closer the season got to ending the more I thought that Neela would factor heavily in the last two episodes.
