Clooney Scrubs in - it's official! George Clooney will bring Dr. Doug Ross back to County General. While reps for both Clooney and his on-screen love Julianna Margulies (Nurse Hathaway) denied the actors would return for ER's final season, they both recently shot scenes of the NBC drama. The news comes as no surprise to Laura Innes, who is scheduled to return as Dr. Weaver for the last episode or two. "George is just that kind of guy," Innes tells TV Guide. "He's doing it as a 'thank you' to the show and his fans. He has nothing to lose." As for Margulies' change of heart, Innes attributes it to the opportunity to reteam with Clooney-and likely a smart storyline from executive producer John Wells. Addes Innes, "Seeing what's on paper can make all the difference."

I have to say that my estimation of Clooney has risen these past few weeks. Also excited to see Weaver back.
