Favorites ER characters

Who are your favorite ER characters? If you were sick who would you want to be your doctor?


My favorites are

Ray
Carter
Lucy (she wasn't on long but I really miss her)
Morris
Luka
Pratt (not at first but he got better)
Greene
Carol

I think I would want either Greene or Carter to be my doctor. What about you guys?

I loved all of the character...and strangely that does Gates now that he isn't going out with Neela. The only one I can't stand is Brenner!

And if I had to have one of them as a doctor it would so be Ray!

Mark,Elizabeth,Abby,Luka,Carter,Pratt,Kerry,Ray,Neela,Morris,Gates(he doesnt bug me now) and I sorta like Sam, but brenner, ehh, not a chance, they're cutting it too close for me to even like him just a little!

I also really like Susan and Pratt too

For me, its actually easier to say who I don't like because, in general, even the peripheral characters have been very good and even the ones I didn't like was because of good characterisation(is that a word?) and good acting.

But here goes some of my absolute favourites.

Neela
Morris (I think SG is the best actor on the cast at the moment)
Ray (Always brought out the mother or big sister in me.)
Luca
Green
Lucy

Ones who always iritated and that I at times hated thanks to great acting.

Romano (arrogant shit)
Crenshaw (dito.)
Sam (she so o negative and defensive. I can't hack her any more.)

Finally, I think Abby in season 14 became jaded and uninteresting. I failed to sympathise with her plight. I fear Maura stayed one season too long.

Of the rest of the cast down through the years, consistently strong believable performances.

Oh I forgot Andrew!!! I love his character he's so sweet!!!

I don't really like Sam either, she's ok sometimes but other times um no.

I've only been watching since season 11, but here you go:

Favorites:
Ray
Neela (the last two are "duhs")
Susan - she was funny in season 11
Archie - I HEART Archie, I think Scott Grimes does wonderful things with him, being touching and funny at the same time
Gates - yup, never hated him, just hated his impeding Reela
Abby - I love Maura Tierney
Weaver - Laura Innes was fabulous
Dr. Coburn - why must Amy Aquino get so little screen time? She's excellent.
Based on what I read I think I'd like Lucy and Dr. Corday
Grady/Jake - great secondary characters

On the fence:
Sam - kinda touch and go, she's has a tendency to be shrill and whiny
Dubenko - cute, but not that memorable
Luka/Pratt/Carter - they're just kinda there for me, probably cause I missed the important seasons
Banfield - overacting Ms. Basset, overacting

Hate:
The new interns - boring as all get out, especially the blond one, and Daria lately as been as interesting as cardboard.
Dr. Brenner - could we please get more than Gates 2.0?
Gallant - as Cranky in her recaps would call him, he's such a "Plank"
Katey the beyotch

Think Grady had the potential to be a favourite- his introduction was interesting and then very littles been done with him since. Would like a bit of development with him and to see him becoming buddies with archie.

Oh God - that would be comedy hour in the ER for sure!
