Latest TV Guide Spoilers - Other Characters Spoiled Too

From the latest TV Guide - here are spoilers for the last two episodes, 99% non Reela related, if you don't want to know, don't read on!!!!

Note: in this entire article in NONE of the photos is Neela or Ray. Nor are they mentioned. What I take this to mean is Neela is still in Baton Rouge, and whatever scene we get of her is not with the regulars (feeling better and better about Reela!). Or, they are keeping things a big fat secret.

The End of ER

Noah Wyle laughed at the bizarre time warp. Seated with Eriq La Salle, Laura Innes and Sherry Stringfield in a tavern set for ER's final episode more than 15 years after he slipped on Dr. John Carter's lab coat, the actor says, "This is weird."

And sad. Former and current cast were on hand to say goodbye to the beloved NBC medical drama. So was TV Guide. We visited the set during filming of the April 2nd two-hour finale when Drs. Carter, Benton, Lewis, and Weaver reunited with Dr. Corday.

The end may bring tears to viewers' eyes, but filming was filled with laughs. "Nothing's changed," Stringfield says. "It's been nonstop childish humor today." La Salle agreed, "We were young and dumb then, and we're older and dumber now." For many of the vets, it was like they never left the ER. "There was something about the bond forged in that first amazing season that is so unbreakable," Wyle says. "We can go all these years without seeing each other and pick right back up."

Recalling MASH's 1983 swan song, Wyle jokes he'll cry "when I take off in my helicopter and realize that Eriq has spelled out the word Goodbye in rocks." La Salle cautions Wyle, "Watch out! That helicopter's going to crash..." Wyle jumps at the chance to poke fun at ER's famous demise of Dr. Romano: "Right back into Paul McCrane!"

La Salle/Wyle/Innes/Stringfield sharing drinks "The former ER castmates headed over to their old watering hole just across from the studio - called the Smoke House. As their noise level increased, 'Some old dude got up and put his fingers in his ears,' Stringfield said. 'He told us, you're being much too loud. We were having too much fun to be respectful.'"

Benton/Corday talking: "Benton reveals that he's considering proposing to girlfriend Cleo, but exec producer John Wells wrote in some simmering chemistry between former lovers Benton and Corday. 'There always is a spark with old flames," Kingston says.

Carter/Kem talking: "Viewers have the satisfaction of knowing where the characters' lives are headed. Carter is separated from wife Kem. Lewis is dating a younger man. On set, the actors also updated each other on their off-screen personal lives. 'It's definitely life imitating art,' La Salle says."

Random County General Extras + Gates, Morris and Sam "Stamos, with Scott Grimes and Linda Cardellini, picked up the stethoscope when the old guard left County General."

This article makes me so nostalgic for the last 15 years of ER. I have been watching all the first season episodes on TNT again and have such a love for the old characters. I will be sad to see it all end. And hopefully at some point, they will put out a 15 season collection of all the episodes...that would be a great DVD collection to have.

Thanks, Kay. But yeah, right, TV Guide, Stamos wishes he was there when the old guard left. He came waaay later. Maura was kind of the bridge between old and new, and when Noah Wyle left, he said Parminder Nagra was the future of ER. Mindi and Linda joined at the same time. Scott's always been around, in smaller bits earlier but he has been shining as a main cast member these last two years. I don't consider Stamos the 'male' lead at all.

I like Stamos fine (more so before he became "Gates" ugh), but I don't get why they have to keep perpetuating the idea that he saved ER. SO not true. Sorry if I sound harsh to any Stamos fans here, but that last sentence really should have had Mindi's name in it!

Omg that was just too funny lol!!! I cracked up when I read that lol!!

I can't wait until the finale it sounds so good and yes I will definitely be one of those many viewers that cries when this show goes off. I have watched this show for so long and it started when I was really little, I still remember watching the first episode when it aired for the very first time, it's going to be so surreal to not have it on anymore. It's been on for as long as I can remember. A part of me still can't believe that it's ending, it's so weird.

I hope that Carter and Kem will be able to work things out please let the heart and soul of ER be happy I really like Carter and Kem was so good for him. Benton and Corday again? Wow and Susan is dating someone what happened to her husband I can't remember his name? They were good together, why can't they just let people be happy on this show? So much drama all the time.

I'm sad to hear Chuck might be gone. I just think bizarre and all as their beginnings were, they kinda fit.

Yes, Benton and Corday, looking forward to seeing those two interact.

I always felt there was more chemistry between those two than there ever was between Green and Corday. Green and Corday was 'a safe relationship' but it never set the screen on fire. Susan was a much better fit for Green.

Aww. Chuck is out? That sucks, I really liked those two together. Ahh, So they're putting some of the old corday/benton chemistry in there, to me, for corday, its no one but greene..

i hope they dont break up cleo and benton..
