| 'ER' winds up in Chicago February 5, 2009 Amid a profusion of ER caps and scarfs, the crew of the long-running NBC medical drama shot the final Chicago scenes last week. Noah Wyle, who played Dr. John Carter for 11 seasons, was on hand for a mayoral ceremony naming Jan. 30 "ER Day" in Chicago. After the ceremony, Wyle said, "It's been wonderful, absolutely wonderful" stepping back into his character's skin. He said ER executive producer John Wells expressed a desire for Carter to "come back and take over the emergency room at the end." "And so it was always in the back of his mind to have me be part of the final chapter," Wyle said. "I've been waiting for that day to come." http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/nation/bal-te.peopledigest054feb05,0,7242568.story | |

| Ooh I can't wait!!! The finale sounds like it's going to be good and I think it is going to be the John Carter emergency room ooh I would love that!!! Or he'll at least be the chief, going back to the beginning I like that. I hope they bring Kem back too, she was good for Carter and he loved her so much.
Hmm, so I guess that means Banfield is leaving? Perhaps, to devote more time to her family?? | |
