Hey, just been catching up on Reela and read your fic. It was great to read and I was amused by Ray being a tit perve but then sort of sweet at the same time, and inferring Neela was too pretty to miss. Looking forward to the next chapter. x

I had been working on my videos so much that I started to miss writing my story, so I just posted a 3rd chapter! Hope you like it!!

I think the thing I love most about writing fanfic's is that you're in control, you can have it be any way you like! You decide what happens and what doesn't, which is perfect for Reela.

Yeah, me too. I put that in there because I wanted to add more depth to his character, which I don't think we really got enough of on the show. I just wish they had shown us more about his character, his childhood, his struggles, why he decided to become a doctor, etc, etc, etc, just more RAY in general, you know?

I agree. In a way its good that they didn't give too much because writing stories for his past can be really interesting...but on the other hand I think that his character had so many chances for development that they just hinted at.

And Sammy, I know what you mean. I would have liked to have had more info about Ray's past, especially his dad. I guess it's just one of the many open ended storylines they left in this show, like Maura mentioned in the retrospective, where it's up to the viewer to decide. ER always leaves you wanting more.

All that talk about fics inspired me to write that chapter. Maybe talking about it some more will help me write the next one.....seem to be having a really bad case of writer's block with the next chapter, but after I do that one I won't be anymore. I know what I want in every chapter after that. It's so hard, but since I'm brainstorming a lot with this story, there is now going to be more chapters than I said there was going to be. This story is going to be pretty long.

And I know what you mean about a block...I know what I want to write for Bend and Not Break, but since it will most likely be the second to last chapter I don't want to screw it up. I'm thinking that me, you and KG should all start a "Poke the Writer" thing Help encourage each other to write

I too know about the writers' block. Though lately it is a time issue - will hopefully overcome that.

Aww thanks Sammy and KG!! Keep reading because I promise it will pick up, I can't wait to get into why I started writing this story in the first place! That is, after I come up with an idea for this next chapter, right now I have nothing. It's weird, I've been able to come up with ideas for later chapters, lots of them, but this chapter, NOTHING grr lol.

I'm sure your story will be great Sammy, you always write so well. I do know what you mean though. When I write I know where I want to go but I don't want it to disappoint or sound stupid. I'll go and write it and then when I'm reading over it I'll be changing it or adding to it.

Aw the last chapters were sweet and don't worry about them being slow burners- we roomies clearly love just that. The viola buying was was sweetness.
